SPRING & SUMMER trends for 2018--
'Tourism chic' was one of the biggest (if not the biggest) trends on the European Spring/Summer 2018 runways. After all, just about every other dad-centric, traditionally unfashionable look (insert your various “cores” here) has been given the luxury treatment in recent seasons.

Hawaiian prints weren’t just for button downs. Flowers and palms adorned coats, pants and shorts. We saw head-to-toe tropical prints at both AMI, where a bold Hawaiian work jacket was paired with matching Bermuda shorts, and Alexander McQueen, who offered a looser, hand-drawn version of the classic print. While a head-to-toe print is not for the faint at heart, it takes the notion of standing out to its natural extreme. Meanwhile, Dries Van Noten’s clothes were awash in muted versions of the tropical graphic.

Some, like Louis Vuitton and SSS World Corp, whose debut collection was aptly titled “Aloha From Hell,” based their entire collections around the tourist aesthetic, while others dabbled – a Hawaiian print here, a sock with a sandal there.

Spring and Summer TRENDS for MEN 2017...

Think bigger and better this season. Elongated silhouettes, oversized Cuban cut t-shirts and wide leg trousers. Made for maximum impact, Raf Simons, Givenchy and Haider Ackermann pave the way for Balmain, Off White and Marcelo Burlon.

It’s no secret that fashion has fallen in love with streetwear, designer’s taking typically mainstream clothing and accessories and putting their own stamp on them. This trend is all about less effort, more attitude and earning serious street cred.

If it’s not broke don’t break it. Military featured at the center of several designer’s Fall/Winter collections, and isn’t going anywhere for Spring/Summer. Opt for lightweight jackets finished with polished buttons, perfectly worn parkas and camo print everything

Flower power still rules the runways. Marni, Rochas and Antonio Marras served up an array of arrangements from precise realistic prints to abstract variations. Embrace the romance of spring with a blossoming new wardrobe.

Designers looked to the street for the SS17 collections. A mash-up of denim, track suits and graphic tees made their way down the catwalk for an literal take on high street fashion. Go for Gucci, Vetements and Off White for a curated aesthetic with a whole lot of cool.
