Former GreenBay Packer #JermichaelFinley says Anthem protests are 'selfish' and about marketing! [vid]

Former Green Bay Packer tight end, Jermichael Finley has some THOUGHTS about the National Anthem protests.

"Athletes are looked up to & serve as roll [sic] models, leave personal opinions about race and politics alone. Do what you get paid to do & play!" he wrote in a since-deleted tweet, per Pro Football Talk's Charean Williams.

He spoke to TMZ sports to further elaborate his point:

"It's more of marketing, it's not really in their heart that they really want to do that," he said. "But once again, I think it's a selfish reason I really do."

See what else he had to say after the JUMP!!

Bear in mind Finley's career was cut short due to injury, so he MAY have a salty outlook on those that are still able to play for pay and those still in the SPOTLIGHT.  Just a THOUGHT....
