For the first time since the domestic abuse incident between her and estranged husband, Chad Johnson, Evelyn Lozada speaks out. In an exclusive interview with ABC's Amy Robach, Lozada recounts the moments leading up to the incident and also speaks on what she wishes for Chad. She claims that she still loves her husband and that she was a "good wife to Chad". She was asked what it would take for her to reconnect with Chad and this is what she had to say:
It would have to take sometime [for us to speak again]. I love him very much and I think that us being away from each other is the right thing. So when is he going to say sorry? [...] It’s the hardest thing in the world to walk away from someone that you really love/ But you have to walk away because I have to protect myself.
