The celebrity fundraiser for President Obama hosted by Hip-Hop's 1st couple took place last night in NYC, but don't expect any pictures of the President! We won't be getting any photos of the President at the gala, as the White House looks to maintain a certain image of the President--with good reason. The entire event is being kept under wraps as much as possible, with the White House also guarding the guest list to the utmost. There are very sparse details, however.
The NY Post reports that Obama's ninth NY fundraiser is to take place at Shawn Carter's 40/40 Club. Attendees will see a custom-designed tower of $800-per-bottle Ace of Spades champagne, designed by Jeffrey Beers. Also, TPOTUS will be speaking to around 100 people, each person at $40,000 a head.

But before that, President Obama did stop by The David Letterman Show.
Mitt Romney spent the day bashing the president at a Republican fundraiser yesterday, but Obama did no such thing.
President Obama did not address Mr. Romney’s comments during the small portion of each event that reporters were allowed to cover, though he did speak about them earlier in the evening, when he taped an episode of CBS’s “The Late Show with David Letterman.”
“My expectation is, if you want to be president, you’ve got to work for everybody, not just for some,” Mr. Obama said to applause. Later, he added, “What I think people want to make sure of is, you’re not writing off a big chunk of the country.”
