" You got knocked the F*CK out!"- NBA legend gives the BEATDOWN to overzealous 'fan'?

Wow, really?  When I miss a Hawks game all the good stuff happens, off the court that is.  It's been reported that at last night's game, NBA legend and Hall of Famer and Dominique Wilkins was allegedly attacked after last night’s Hawks game. The 'attacker', Rashan S. Michel, a former NBA and college referee allegedly attacked Wilkins after an argument over some money Wilkins owed him for some suits.  Yes, some suits.  According to reports, Michel argued with Wilkins while the former NBA player was conducting a live broadcast after the game.  He then followed Wilkins on to the court and allegedly started swinging  hitting him in the chest. He also hit a security guard before then getting pummeled by Wilkins.

Damn! Dominique Wilkins messed this guy up pretty bad.  Reports said that Wilkins was unharmed in the incident.  This morning, the 'attacker' called in to V103's 'Frank & Wanda' show to explain his side of the story. He said he tried to 'talk' to Wilkins about settling the debt and that Wilkins 'hit him first'.  Hmmm, hope the cameras were rolling.  Seems we are getting two conflicting stories.  Then during the 'Frank & Wanda' broadcast, a caller chimed in saying they she would agree to meet Michel at Atlantic Station to pay him the debt that Wilkins owes.  *SIDE-EYE* Where do they do that? The caller wished to remain anonymous and wanted to 'pay the debt so that the matter would 'go away' and 'be settled'.  LOL.  Like Martin says on the 'Martin' show, "MAN PLLLLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEASE!!!"  The attacker's eye is almost swollen shut and you want the matter to just 'go away'?  CHIIICHIIIIING!!!!  You know the attacker wants a huge settlement out of the deal!  Wow, this has become interesting.  We will see how it plays out.

Dominique Wilkins played for the Hawks from 1982-1994 and currently serves as the team's vice president.

Oh, by the way, in other news the Hawks did with the game over Orlando with a score of 85 to 82. With all the excitement, forgot to mention that we did win the game.

'Khloe & Lamar'-SNEAK PEEK-

Love at first sight, does it really happen anymore or is that something that exist only in fairytales or made for tv movies on Lifetime. Well apparently it does and L.A. Laker's standout Lamar Odom and the other Kardashian, Khloe are coming to airwaves to prove it. That's right, yet another spin-off of the highly successful 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' franchise, 'Khloe & Lamar'. If you recall, the couple met back in 2009 and after a worldwind romance of merely a month, the two were joined in Holy Matrimony. They have been together ever since and are 'happily married' I suppose. Well April 10th we will see a bit more of the marriage and everything that goes with it when E! debuts their reality show. We have a sneak peek of what we can expect.

I have never watched any of the other 'Kardashian' shows, but my people tell me that they due really well in the ratings, so this should fall right in line as well.  From the looks of things, this may actually be interesting to watch.  Throw in the best friend of both Khloe & Lamar and we seem to have drama in the making.  I may check this out and let you guys know what I think later.  'Khloe & Lamar' debuts on E! April 10th.  ANy why couldn't it be 'Lamar & Khloe'?  He's just as famous as she is or even more famous.  Hmm, just my thoughts... LOL.  *sidebar* Let's just hope that this show doesn't spell the end to the romance.  You all know there is a reality show curse.  Most couples who expose their 'married life' on camera usually end up filing for divorce once the cameras stop rolling.  Let's cross our finger for these two.

GaGa 'knocked off'!!!!!!!

For the past few weeks Lady GaGa has sat comfortably atop the Billboard's Top 100's Chart.  No one has been able to touch GaGa's 'Born this Way'.  Well her reign has ended!  Nope and it wasn't Britney. Although Britney's media train has pulled into every stop she can imagine to try to push the new LP, Spears did not dethrone Lady GaGa.  It was another pop princess in-waiting......

katy perry1 Katy Perry Ends Lady GaGas Reign On The Billboard Hot 100

That's right Katy Perry's 'E.T.' that features a guess spot from another extraterrestrial, Kanye West has dragged GaGa down a peg or two.

After an impressive 6 weeks at the #1, ‘Born this Way’ was knocked out of the chart’s peak position by Perry’s ‘E.T (Ft. Kanye West)’ which pulled in 254k downloads and 74 million audience impressions this week. With those figures ‘E.T’ also nabbed top honors on the Digital Songs tally.

This accomplishment means that Perry has a total of 4 #1 songs from her ‘Teenage Dream’ LP, making it the 9th album to achieve this feat to date. She is the 1st female artist to hit the chart summit on as many occasions with a single album since Mariah Carey in 1990-91 with her self-titled debut album.  Who knew Katy Perry was bubbling over like that.  Don't sleep on Katy!!!  The visual for this powerful single is set to be released tomorrow and Perry seems to be ramping it up for this video. Take a look for yourself!

You can never go wrong with PoP music.  It manages to always sell and do well on the charts.  This is the reason so many artist are trying to crossover and do pop songs because to appeal to a wider audience.  Go get 'em Katy Perry.  You know the little Fame Monsters are not going to stand for this for too long.  LOL.

For the 'Beautiful Ones'!!! LIVE YOUR LIFE!

Do you feel 'beautiful'? You should. Look inside, look in the mirror! Be thankful to be alive and CELEBRATE EVERYDAY LIKE IT'S YOUR LAST!!!!

INKED!!!! Good or bad?

Tattoos.  Some people seem to be fascinated by them.  Some people live and die by them and I've been told that once you get one, you will get more.  It almost becomes and 'addiction'.  Celebrities and sports figures seem to can not go without having their body art displayed for the world to see.  College and professional basketball ballplayers almost make it seem that having your arms and chest and sometimes neck and face filled with body art is a prerequisite for playing the sport.  I've been asked many times, "how many tatts do you have?"  My reply is always "None".  I've never had an interest in getting 'inked'.  I think that as dark as I am , it will just look like dirt on my skin.  LOL. But really,  I've just never even thought about it.  But some celebs and people in the spotlight 'live and die' by the ink.  Have you ever thought what your favorite celeb would look like with no ink ?  Some stars as they've gotten older and want to steer their careers in other areas have even went as far as getting excessive body art removed.  Rapper 50-Cent has had his body art removed in order to move more deeply in to acting.

Let's take a look at some of your faves before and after the ink was unleashed.

Baby-face Wayne vs 'Liltunechi'. Which do you like better?

P!nk back when she was pale and still trying to sing R&B, and now, fake tan and all he new ink.

Aww, wasn't he an adorable little kid back in college turned inked up mad man in the NBA-- Allen Iverson.
David Beckham.  If I was worth all his money, I'd get an arm or two done myself.
West-Coast Rapper The Game started out small but "LA" soon took over.  Face tattoos are brave... right?
'Slim Shady' back when he was still rather slim and pale, to now the biggest selling hip-hop artist to date.

Kid Rapper turned mini mogul, Soulja Boy could 'tellum' a few things about the art of bodyart.
The man of the hour, the HOT NEWEST RAPPER on the scene, Wiz Khalifa.  Hard to imagine him without the ink.  He looks like a regular dude taking the subway on the 'before' picture.  The 'green' and the ink is permanent.

Some bodyart that we wish would have stayed just a thought and not an action:

 EEK!!!!!!!!!WHY??? For what reason?

"I love her smile!"- Artist Spotlight: Shanice

Have you ever been driving along and heard a song that instantly took you back to a time when things were carefree, easy and blissful? That happened to me recently listening to the radio and I heard an early song by Shanice, "I love your smile". I thought to myself, "music has really changed since then?" This song, was light, with no sexual overtones and it just makes u smile when you listen to it. Its not like music from some of today's female artist that ooze sex and beg your ear to listen to it. This song just was and still is a classic.

Shanice born Shanice Lorraine Wilson-Knox (born May 14, 1973) is an American singer-songwriter. In 1991, she scored a Top 5 Billboard hit with the single "I Love Your Smile", followed by another Top 5 single "Saving Forever for You" in 1993. In 1987, Wilson released her debut album, Discovery, at age 14. The album produced two top ten R&B hits, "(Baby Tell Me) Can You Dance" and "No 1/2 Steppin'". Wilson went on to sign a record deal with Motown Records in 1991 and released Inner Child, her first Motown effort later that year. The album included Wilson's hit single "I Love Your Smile", which reached number one in 22 countries, including the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and number two on the Billboard Hot 100, and also reached. The album also featured a cover of Minnie Riperton's 1974 hit "Lovin' You". Wilson's rendition brought attention to her five octave vocal range

After Inner Child, Wilson continued to record albums, including 21… Ways to Grow in 1994 with producer Rhett Lawrence and L.A session musician and Earth Wind & Fire guitarist Dick Smith. Also 1999's Shanice. While she has not achieved significant commercial success with her later albums, she has contributed various tracks for films including Boomerang and The Meteor Man. Wilson also found success with her top ten hit "Saving Forever For You", from the Beverly Hills 90210 soundtrack. Shanice also recorded "If I Never Knew You", a duet with Jon Secada, for the original soundtrack of Disney's 'Pocahontas'.

She also sings backup and does studio sessions and can be heard on Toni Braxton's song "Come On Over Here" and "Un-Break My Heart", as well as Usher's "Bedtime". In 2010. she has also lend her vocals for song "Behind the Mask" which can be found on Michael Jackson's posthumous 2010 album "Michael".

Shanice is married to actor Flex Alexander and the two have been happily married since 2000. I met the couple awhile back when Shanice was doing some promotional shows for her latest release and the two seem to be in love still like the first day they met. Alexander is very hands-on in his wife's career and is often featured in her videos. Before there was Mariah with the 5-Octave range, there was Shanice. This artist often goes overlooked by mainstream, but she is truly an original. True talent and powerhouse vocals is what she relies on. Back in her heyday, those were the keys to success, unlike today.

Let's take a little flashback and listen to some real R&B music from a gem of an artist.

Judge Judy rushed to hospital while taping show today.

Reports are coming in that reality court tv judge Judy Sheindlin was rushed to an L.A. hospital this morning after feeling ill.  “The judge was feeling nauseous and had some intestinal discomfort and decided to go to the hospital to get it checked out,” Sheindlin’s rep told Access. “They are keeping her overnight for tests.”
Later in the day, her rep said the judge was feeling “better.”
“I just spoke to the judge who says she is feeling much better. She says all of the tests are negative and she’s going home tomorrow,” her rep told Access. “She will be back taping her show on April 12, as scheduled.”

We wish the judge a speedy recovery.  Maybe the silly court cases and plaintiffs and defendants made her sick to her stomach?

Happy Birthday STANLEY, or better yet MC HAMMER

The legendary ICON MC HAMMER born Stanley Kirk Burrell celebrates a birthday today!!!!

Hammer don't hurt em!!!!!!

MC Hammer is an American rapper, entertainer, business entrepreneur, dancer and actor. He was commercially most popular during the late 1980s until the mid-1990s. Remembered for a rapid rise to fame before losing the majority of his fortune, Hammer is also known for his hit records, including "U Can't Touch This", flamboyant dance techniques and trademark Hammer pants. Hammer's superstar-status made him a household name and pop icon. He has sold more than 50 million records worldwide, demonstrating hip hop's potential for mass market success.

Hammer has definitely made an indelible impact on pop culture.  There was no mistaking the unique dance talent, and the art of how to succeed in the music business and the pitfalls to look out for along the way.  MC Hammer had what people call 'IT'.  There was a time when you could not pick up a magazine or turn a radio on without hearing an MC Hammer song.  He went through many phases in his life, pop star to gangsta rapper to preacher to actor, and now I think he's just known as Hammer.  On this day let's wish Hammer a HAPPY BIRTHDAY and many more!

Foxy's Nails go hard as H*LL!!--They gotta be right or else!!!!

Now we are finding out the REAL reason once-upon a time rapper Foxy Brown got KICKED of the Tom Joyner's Fantastic Voyage cruise.  Word from the curb is that Foxy (ne: Inga Marchand), had a scheduled manicure appointment with the ship's manicure shop, but arrived fashionably late--3 hours to be exact.  Once they could not accommodate her appointment due to tardiness on her part, Brown went ballistic.  So ballistic that security removed her from the salon and sent her back to her room — where she remained under supervision until Wednesday … when the ship dropped anchor somewhere in the Cayman Islands she was then escorted off the cruise ship! She was then taken to an airport and flown home.  Wow! Foxy does not mess around when it come to her nails, obviously.  If we go back a few years, Foxy and cosmetics don't seem to mesh well together.  Back in 2004, she faced assault charges for allegedly beating up two nail salon employees, and again in 2007 after allegedly beating up a beauty store employee over some hair weave glue.  LOL. This is too funny.  Rappers going to jail for guns, drugs etc, and she is making news for nails! Really, Inga?  This is probably what her nails looked liked after she was scratching her ass thinking how she got kicked out of yet another venue:

Lol!!

Of course Foxy took to her trust Twitter page to speak her mind about the situation.------>
"SO I’m up packing my Luby’s and Kirkwoods to meet my pumpkin Shyne in Belize for a lil’ vacay…..and I get a call that Tom joyner is on the radio disrespecting me….again! OKAY NOW MR. JOYNER, your old enough to be my grandfather which is why I let your distasteful comments in our interview go without putting you in your place. Obviously, you equated my silence with weakness. My maturation with passivity. Grandpa you need to learn some respect, I’m the wrong one to romp wit you will get checked!!

Lying ass! It was absolutely nothing but LUV from my arrival to the day I left. Hugs from Monie Love and kisses from Dougie Fresh….I tore the stage down! That’s the thanks I get?? U wait til’ I leave the ship and then 2 days later your on the air saying negative shit!"

"Take that Tom Joyner!"  Foxy says her lipgloss still poppin!  LOL Get a clue Foxy and grow up.  If you need something to do in your spare time drop  an ALBUM! Or at least drop a mixtape and sell it via PAYPAL!  Nicki is somewhere laughing her ass off most likely.

Everybody hates TO LOVE Chris! Brown scores 1st #1 Album!

Hate him or love him, Chris Brown is having one hell of a good week.  Coming off of a stellar performance on ABC's 'Dancing with The Stars', the 21-year old pop star has nabbed his 1st number one album!  Congratulations to Chris Brown and Team Breezy for selling over 270k copies of 'F.A.M.E.'  These figures represent more than a 150% increase in sales from the 102k that his previous LP, ‘Graffiti’, sold when released in December 2009.

Not doing so bad herself, Jennifer Hudson comes in at #2 with 167k units sold.  I guess Jhud is the 'bridesmaid and not the bride on Billboard Hot 200 charts. Her self-titled debut also premiered in the #2 position but sold more than 50k copies more with 217k.  This is still impressive and the cd is amazing if you have not already got your copy.
Other notable contenders include Adele, Bobby Valentino, Justin Bieber and Kirk Franklin.  Adele’s ‘21′ continuesto sell consistently with sales exceeding 96k at #3 (less than a 2% drop from last week) and Kirk Franklin’s ‘Hello Fear’ surpassed all expectations by debuting at #5 with 87k. Rounding out the top 10 were Bobby V’s ‘Fly On The Wall’ with 87k at #9 and Justin Bieber’s ‘Never Say Never: The Remixes’ at #10 with 29k.

Congrats to all the artist for their efforts!

WTF Moment: Plastic Surgery

Plastic is a vital resource to the entire world.  It has so many practical uses that are countless.  But 'plastic' in the wrong hands can be DEADLY!  That's write when we start putting it inour faces and other parts of our body, the results can be jarring.

The 'WTF Moment' has been a popular feature on the blog so I decided to do a whole post of 'WTF's' devoted to plastic surgery 'victims'.  Take a look at a few celebs before and after 'PLASTIC ATTACKS'.

Kenny Rogers used to look rugged, now he looks like Hulk Hogan's Dad.
Mickey Rourke was once deemed a sex-symbol, now he looks like a melted candle.
Janice Dickinson who calls herself the '1st Supermodel', now looks like a cartoon character.
The fiesty pint-sized rapper from NY now resembles and old Asian lady.
Joan Rivers, funny lady, now just looks like a funny looking lady.  At least she can laugh at herself.

Donatella Versace, hmmm, I am at a loss for words because the 'before' doesn't look like much of a difference to the 'after'.

The take home message here, just work with what you have.  Some enhancements are bst left to PhotoShoppe editors.

The one the ONLY--Elton John

Back when I was little younger than I am now, I was asked to go to an Elton John concert.  Apprehension set it initially.  I told my friend, "I'm not sure that that's my type of music."  I told my friend that asked me to go.  He told me, "But it is.  You'd be surprised at hoe many of the hip-hop songs you listen to have sampled his work."  And those words were so true.  When I went to the show, it was magic.  It was one of the best concerts I'd ever attended.  The man, the music and the red piano.  That's all that was needed to make the arena come alive.  So many of his songs he performed that night I had heard before in some form or fashion and had not realized who the artist was.  I never forgot that show.  If you have the chance to see this man perform, you should jump at the opportunity because he is truly a musical genius.  He can tell a story through his words and pull you into his world.

Sir Elton Hercules John, born Reginald Kenneth Dwight is an English, singer-songwriter, composer pianist and activist.  In his four-decade career John has sold more than 250 million records, making him one of the most successful artists of all time. His 1997 single "Candle in the Wind " has sold over 33 million copies worldwide, and is the best selling single in Billboard history. He has more than 50 Top 40 hits, including seven consecutive No. 1 US albums, 56 Top 40 singles, 16 Top 10, four No. 2 hits, and nine No. 1 hits. He has won six Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award and a Tony Award. In 2004, Rolling Stone ranked him Number 49 on its list of the 100 greatest artists of all time.

Elton John's hit song 'Bennie and the Jets' was from the "GoodBye Yellow Brick Road album, and has been sampled by many a hip-hop artist including Mary J. Blige for her song 'Deep Inside', from her "Mary" disc.  John played piano for Mary on the song.  So if you think you haven't heard an Elton John song, you probably have.

The 'Beautiful People' of DWTS chime in about Chris Brown appearing on the show.

What's that saying, " your reputation precedes you?" Well in this case Chris Brown's reputation has given the participants and hosts of Dancing with The Stars a lot to think about in reference to him appearing on the show. Cheryl Burke, a DWTS regular had huge concerns about having Brown perform on the hit show.

"As a victim of domestic violence, I don't agree with him coming on the show, but it's out of my control," Burke tells Extra.
Other stars had different opinions.  Media maven Wendy Williams seemed excited that Chris would perform.  After last week's tumultuous times at GMA, the shows producers were concerned.  Even Brown himself was concerned so he opted to just perform and no interview.  He doesn't wish to discuss his past antics in any future interview.  Hmm, interesting because its his past antic that lead to his tantrum at the GMA taping.  Needless to say the show went off with out a hitch and Brown performed to his little heart's content.
In an interview with Ryan Seacrest, "Dancing" host Bergeron said, "Here's the thing, I did say to the producers it might be to their advantage to not have me interview him, because my natural tendency would be to say something. So don't put me in a position where you are asking me to not say something, because I really won't do that -- even if it's just a snarky little aside, 'How was your week?'"

Just to be on the safe side, the performance was pre-taped.  Smart move producers.  On-stage, its evident by his past and last night's performance that Chris Brown is a talented performer.  He is destined to do great things if he can control his temper and learn to respond to the media and their scrutiny of him better.
