Rapper Big Sean has had some people question why they call him 'BIG' Sean. There have been rumors and alleged pics leaked of the rapper's package, but FINALLY, the rapper himself sets the record straight! He tells Nessa Nitty from Wild 94.9 KYLD that he does INDEED have a ' BIG situation below the belt!!
He credits his BIG PEEN as the power to get onstage when he was 1st starting out in the rap game:
"I really was blessed man. I think if I didn’t have a big “situation” I don’t know if I’d even have the confidence to be a rapper. Before any of this popped off I had to have the confidence to get up on stage. I always knew at the end of the day if everything else failed at least I got this."
True or not it doesn't hurt NO MAN 's EGO for people the think he has a BIG MEMBER! Chicks DIG THAT, rather they like to admit it or not! LOL
The charts are talking and they are'nt saying too many nice things. The Billboard charts 1st week numbers are in and the units were slow moving this week for BIG artists like Rihanna, Mary J. Blige and Michael Jackson. I guess people FORGOT to shop for albums last week. Rihanna, with her #1 single, 'We Found Love' only pushed 197K units last week. This managed to land her at # 3 on the charts. Mary J. Blige didn't fair much better with 164K units which put her at # 5, while the Michael Jackson 'Immortal' two-disc set of rehashed MJ songs only pushed a meager 45K units. OUCH! Although as we get deeper into the holiday season, the numbers are sure to increase, but that 1st week is when it really counts.
Interstingly enough, November last year saw Rihanna again at @ # 3 with 209,018 units sold. Mary J. Blige's 'Stonger' sold 332K units the 1st week back in December of 2009! In my opinion 'My Life II' is a better cohesive piece of work than 'Stronger' was. Not sure why the sales this year are so lackluster? Hmmm???

Much rumor and Internet talk and speculation has been swirling around about Brandy's new music. Word from the curb is that the artist is POISED for a HUGE comeback with the new music she is working on. Well with that being said, I am sure Brandy will bring the heat this time around but, just the other day the singer was seen leaving a Beverly Hills restaurant looking a little less JUBILANT!

Judge Michael Pastor may have imposed the maximum possible sentence on Conrad Murray this morning—four years behind bars— but of course that is nothing in comparison to what we and the family have lost
"It wasn't enough time," Jermaine Jackson told E! News on his way out of the courthouse.
Hardly a surprisingly response given that just moments after the hearing ended, Los Angeles Sheriff spokesman Steve Whitmore told E! News that when all is said and done, Murray, as expected, will not serve the four-year sentence doled out to him, but will instead wind up serving "a little less than two years" of that sentence.

Rapper T.I. recently reached out to Billboard.com to discuss how Eminem had reached out to him during his recovery period. Take a look at what T.I. had to say about Eminem!
The Hall of Fame head coach of Syracuse University's basketball team whose assistant was fired over allegations of sexually molesting boys stayed mum on Monday about the growing scandal, but the school said he would speak publicly after a Tuesday game.
Jim Boeheim, whose multimillion dollar basketball program has been rocked by the accusation against assistant coach Bernie Fine, will hold a news conference after the Tuesday evening home game against Eastern Michigan University, Syracuse's athletic department said.
It was not clear if Boeheim would address the scandal or would stick to discussing the game only.
Fine, who was fired on Sunday, is the target of a grand jury investigation into accusations that he molested a former ball boy, Bobby Davis, 39, and at least one other boy, Davis's stepbrother Mike Lang, 45, when they were juveniles.
Pittsburgh police said they would also investigate allegations from a third man, Zach Tomaselli, that Fine tried to fondle him in a hotel in 2002, and were in contact with Syracuse police to gather information about the case. They said they learned of the allegations from media reports.
Fine has called the accusations against him "patently false in every aspect."
Fine's firing came after ESPN aired an audio recording it said was of a 2002 conversation between Davis and Fine's wife Laurie in which she said she knew about the alleged molestation but felt unable to stop it. The conversation was recorded by Davis without her knowledge, ESPN said.
Boeheim, Fine's boss of 35 years and a Hall of Fame coach, said on Sunday he supported the firing, dropping the support he showed for Fine when the allegations surfaced last week.

For those that may have been living under a rock, or have not been intuned to what's HOT, The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, is back with another SMASH ALBUM. 'My Life II: The Journey Continues- Act 1' is finally here and it was well worth the wait in my opinion. The 'My Life' album is considered a Classic in its own right, and some say doing a follow-up was a risky gamble. There so many life-changing 'anthems' lauded from that album, that rec\-creating that same type of energy is almost IMPOSSIBLE in music, but 'My Life II' is sure to be a classic all of its own. Like Mary explains to Diddy- her long time collaborator and friend-- in the intro of the disc, 'My Life II' is not a competitor to 'My Life', but an extension of where she is now and how she navigates through life differently. The energy is still there, it's a different type of energy now. Mary's voice is at its finest and purest as she laments and and reflects on where she's been and where she is headed. It's hard to believe that it's been 17 years since the release of 'My Life'. Gone is the pain and hurt that poured out in every track of the predecessor, but replaced with a new sense of accomplishment and a growth. There is still pain, and heartache, but Blige is better equipped to navigate through it and express it in a new an fresh way. Here are a few of the things the critics are saying about 'My Life II':
“No working soul singer depicts struggle (and its hard-won defeat) more believably than Blige does, even when armed with so-so material, as she often is here.” [Mikael Wood, LA Times]
“Navigating pain has always been her subject…But Blige is admirably unfashionable, staying in her sweet spot of midtempo hip-hop soul. After all these years, she can still make pain pleasurable.” [Jody Rosen, Rolling Stone]
“As a sequel to “My Life,” “My Life II” may disappoint fans, for no reason other than that Blige is no longer a troubled 20-something willing to lay out her struggles for the world to hear. But viewed as just the latest Mary J. Blige project, it’s a solid album filled with small touches that will recall ’90s-era Blige.” [Sarah Godfrey, Washington Post]
“As deep from the pit of her heart as in “My Life,” Mary J. Blige sings of the highs and lows of the new state of love and life the singer is in, healthier but still intertwined with harsh reality and heartbreak.” [Erika Ramirez, Billboard]
I was skeptical about Mary recreating the magic of 'My Life', initially. But after listening to the disc, Mary J. Blige has indeed another CLASSIC album on her hands. The whole project is a solid piece of work, and I have actually had it on repeat since I put my hands on it. MJB has done it again. Check out Mary at the best she's been in YEARS!!!! ROLL THE CLIP THAD!

When one thinks of Dynasties, one may go back to ancient times and reference the Roman Empire, or the Carrington vs the Colby battle on 80's sudser 'Dynasty'. Merriam-Webster defines a dynasty as a powerful group or family that maintains its position for a considerable time. That being said, in MUSIC, their have been many a great dynasty to have blazed the charts and shaped popular music. On such dynasty was the G-Unit Dynasty that 'held power' from 2003-2007. The G-Unit Movement in its heyday was virtually UNSTOPPABLE. Lead by rapper, actor, mogul, 50 Cent, the movement also boasted the likes of Lloyd Banks, Young Buck, Tony Yayo, Mobb Deep, M.O.P, Olivia, Spider Loc, 40 Gloc and Game. The movement would go on to be chart dominators amassing over 20 million album sales combined and a host of accolades and awards.
Like with anything, what goes up usually has a funny way of coming down. Inner stress and the change in the climate of hip-hop music saw a decline in sales and appeal for 'the movement'. Inner strife caused Young Buck to be booted from G-unit and trouble between 50 cent and west coast rapper Game also led to them parting ways as well. 'The Movement's' 1st lady, Olivia saw moderate success during the G-unit heyday, but was also 'let go' from the label. Nonetheless, when G-Unit was on top, they gave hip hop a shot in the arm it needed. Great hits came from the camp and continue to flow from 'the movement'. Although the line-up has changed, great things are still on the horizon for G-Unit.

G-Unit's Lloyd Banks finally gets his just do. Of course 50 is a huge talent and savvy business man in his own right, but the future of G-Unit may rest firmly on the shoulders of Lloyd Banks. Banks has truly come into his own lately. One of the more slept on lyricists, Banks' star is definitely on the rise. His flow and gruff delivery is unmistakable and his swag in on 100 as he swoons the ladies and keeps the naysayers in check as well. H.F.M. 2 is an amazing piece of work but in my opinion didn't get the notoriety it deserved. One of my favorite cuts from the disc is 'I don't deserve you' featuring R&B crooner Jeremih. This beat is so smooth and Banks just glides on top of the track with finesse as Jeremih coos for the ladies. This is definitely some music to ride to as you bending a few curves in an expensive sports car. Well maybe that's my imagery, but get into Bank's imagery with the visual for the song. Here it is!!!!!
Rapper 50 Cent took to Twitter a few days ago to make a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!! You want to know what's 'cooking' in 50's kitchen???
Well... here is what the rapper had to say:
“Its been 10 years since I put out 50cent is the future. So I’m putting out the BIG 10 next week 10 smoking hot tracks #SK,” 50 wrote. “I’m shooting videos for every song on the tape. The BIG 10 I got something for a haters a** it called hits lol #SK.”
That's right, in honor of the 10-year anniversary of his monster mixtape, '50Cent is the Future', the rapper is set to drop a 10-track mixtape this week, with a video to accompany each track! It sounds like major moves over at the G-Unit camp. Congrats to 50 on the anniversary.

There is no denying that Mick Jagger is a Pop icon! His 'distinctive' dance moves ( and his lips) have become a trademark of his larger than life persona. What better way to tribute a legend than to do a song about him. Maroon5 does just that in this catchy upbeat romp into pop/rock bliss. Adam Levine's voice is one of the most unique in the business and getting his 'Voice' co-judge, Christina Aguilera on board was the icing on the cake. Dig into your soul and bust a few dance moves like Jagger. I bet you will feel better by the end of the song. The Sunday Energy Shot goes to Maroon5 and Xtina with 'Moves like Jagger'!

The YMCMB MACHINE just can't be stopped. Birdman is back with the releases of the 1st video from his new project. A few weeks ago, I gave you some BTS pics from the shoot, but finally, the visual for 'Y U Mad' is here! YMCMB definitely displays just why they are on top right now. The flashy visual with the decadent accouterments of hip-hop royalty strewn about is not a BAD way to kick off the 1st video from "Bigga than Life" set to drop before the end of the year. Fans and lingerie. That's all that's needed for Beyonce's come hither ode to pleasing her man, 'Dance for You'. In King B's latest clip, the Pop/R&B diva gets naughty as she writhes and gyrates in attempts at appeasing her mate. The visual is a throwback to the film noir days and is naughty but still leaves somethings to the imagination. 'Dance for you' is lifted from the deluxe edition of Bey's platinum selling '4' disc.

After nearly two years of bickering, NBA players and owners are back on the same side.
''We want to play basketball,'' Commissioner David Stern said.
Come Christmas Day, they should be.
The sides reached a tentative agreement early Saturday to end the 149-day lockout and hope to begin the delayed season with a marquee tripleheader Dec. 25. Most of a season that seemed in jeopardy of being lost entirely will be salvaged if both sides approve the handshake deal.
Barring a change in scheduling, the 2011-12 season will open with the Boston Celtics at New York Knicks, followed by Miami at Dallas in an NBA finals rematch before MVP Derrick Rose and Chicago visiting Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.
Neither side provided many specifics about the deal, and there are still legal hurdles that must be cleared before gymnasiums are open again.
''We thought it was in both of our interest to try to reach a resolution and save the game,'' union executive director Billy Hunter said.
After a secret meeting earlier this week that got the broken process back on track, the sides met for more than 15 hours Friday, working to save the season. Stern said the agreement was ''subject to a variety of approvals and very complex machinations, but we're optimistic that will all come to pass and that the NBA season will begin Dec. 25.''
President Barack Obama gave a thumbs-up when told about the tentative settlement after he finished playing basketball at Fort McNair in Washington on Saturday morning.
The league plans a 66-game season and aims to open training camps Dec. 9, with free agency opening at the same time. Stern has said it would take about 30 days from an agreement to playing the first game.
''All I feel right now is 'finally,''' Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade told The Associated Press.
The King of the South covers the latest edition of Vibe Mag, and in an interview, T.I. addressed something that rapper 50cent said on Twitter about T.I.'s wife. In case you missed it, here it goes....
50 said he thought that Tiny should've have taken responsibility for the drug possession charge that sent Tip back to prison. This is what T.I. had to say about it:
“I’ma tell you, 50 Cent and anybody else, we not gonn’a have no discussion about what my ole lady should’a, would’a, couda done for anything as it pertains to me. We ain’t gonn’a do that. I’m the only one in my family that’s gonna take a lick when it pertains to the legal system. Since me, none of my other family members have seen a jail cell. Nobody. I’m the last one. The buck stops here. I feel that a person that stands behind [his woman for a criminal charge] is a coward anyway.”
Of course, this means 'war', right? Well, 50 cent went to everybody's favorite sounding board to air out his grievances:
@50 Cent: Man I just saw something T.I said in VIBE about a tweet I wrote when he caught his drug case. He just got out a jam and caught a new one,”
@50 Cent: This boy got a get outta jail FREE card. Don’t get emotional over your lady. It a get you in some sh– you don’t want to be in.”
Rapper T.I. took the high road, and simply sealed the 'beef' before it could get any momentum:
@Tip: Straight G code…No “TWEEFIN” here champ!!!! Peace 2da real og’s we out!!!
T.I. was a stand-up guy and just simply breezed past the incident before it could even be deemed an incident! Way to go Tip!

We may get that one elusive Christmas gift we've been wanting!!!
The NBA and locked-out players are expected to resume talks today in hopes of reaching a deal, saving the season and playing games on Christmas Day.
In a statement released Wednesday evening, an attorney for the players, Jonathan Schiller, confirmed "there would be preliminary settlement discussions with the NBA immediately after Thanksgiving with regard to the lawsuit filed recently by the players in Minnesota."
A person familiar with the talks, who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to go public, said the focal point is on a collective bargaining agreement (CBA), not the suit.
The person said the main participants in discussions this week were NBA Commissioner David Stern, Deputy Commissioner Adam Silver, San Antonio Spurs owner and labor relations chairman Peter Holt, players trade association chief Billy Hunter and players trade association attorney Ron Klempner.
"We remain committed to a negotiated solution, but we decline to comment further," NBA spokesman Mike Bass said.
"It's our hope that we're going to play some games this season," Boston Celtics owner Wyc Grousbeck said. "We regret that we haven't been able to reach an agreement yet. We know that that has an effect on fans and business partners and people who work around our arenas."
A deal soon would keep the attractive Christmas Day TV slate: first, the Celtics at the New York Knicks on ESPN; followed by a doubleheader on ABC — the Miami Heat at the champion Dallas Mavericks, then the Chicago Bulls at the Los Angeles Lakers.
Stern has said it would take about 30 days to start the season after a CBA is reached.
Thirty days out from Dec. 25 would be Friday.
Rapper/Actor/Restauranteur, Ludacris is back with a new video from his '1.21 Gigawatts' Mix tape. 'Bada Boom' is said to be a 'diss' track aimed at rappers Big Sean and Drake. In recent news, the veteran rapper came under fire for apparently 'stealing' Big Sean's flow, who in turn is said to have had his signature flow stolen from him by Drake. Hmm, interesting. I am sure as long as hip-hop has been around, none of these parties involved can say they are the SOLE CREATOR of such flow, but that's just me talking.
Ludacris’ diss song stems from an interview Drake did on AllHipHop in which he said that Luda doesn’t know how to use the hashtag flow properly. “I don’t want to offend somebody, I hate that rappers picked that flow up,” he said in the 2010 interview. “I wish they had left that for people that know how to use it. [They go like] ‘It’s a parade! MACY’S!’,” Drake continued, referencing one of Luda’s lines from ‘My Chick Bad.’
In an MTV interview, Big Sean claims to have invented the hashtag flow. “With the super duper flow, I created that one-word rhyme style,” he said.
In response, Luda raps on ‘Bada Boom’: “Do your research before you make a claim so bogus / That’s disrespecting pioneers in the game / F—k the fame but go ahead and get ya 5 minutes / Then you frontline cadets can report to your lieutenants (Sir, yes sir).”
Another day, another hip-hop beef....
Check the video and see what Luda has to say about all that:
Although this is not THAT OLD, I thought in light of the mobs of people bumrushing the retail outlets in hopes of acquiring the BEST Christmas deals, I thought it suiting. Rap legend, Lil' Kim released a searing 'diss' track in 2010 to new heiress to the HIP Hop throne, Nicki Minaj in the form of 'Black Friday'. Since then the 'beef' seems to have simmered down, while Nicki Minaj continues her reign over HIP HOP and POP. Hate it or love it, Minaj is ruling the game now, and Kim is on the rise to make a big return in 2012, but until then.. let's go back .....
